Online Sales Return Policy

This Return Policy applies exclusively to purchases made through the RunLab.shop online store.

1. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving any reason within 14 days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, receives the Goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform RUNLAB (CY) LIMITED of the decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement before the 14-day period expires.

It is not sufficient simply to send the Goods back without notifying RUNLAB of the decision to withdraw.

A model withdrawal form may be used for this purpose, but its use is not mandatory.

2. Condition of Returned Footwear

The statutory right of withdrawal allows the customer to inspect and try on footwear only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, fit and functioning, and only in the same manner as would normally be permitted in a RUNLAB physical store.

Footwear may be tried on indoors on a clean surface for the purpose of checking size, fit and comfort.

Footwear must not be worn outdoors or used for running, walking outdoors, training, gym activities or any other physical activity during the withdrawal period.

Any outdoor wear, running, training or other use beyond normal indoor fitting constitutes handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the footwear.

Returned footwear may be inspected by RUNLAB for signs of use, including but not limited to:

• dirt, dust, mud or other contamination on the outsole or upper;
• wear or abrasion of the outsole;
• staining, scuffing or scratching;
• excessive creasing or deformation resulting from use;
• odour or other evidence of running, training or outdoor wear;
• damage or missing parts, accessories or components.

Where the customer has handled or used the footwear beyond what is permitted for normal inspection, the customer may be liable for the resulting diminished value of the Goods in accordance with applicable law.

Where such use has reduced the value of the footwear to the extent that it can no longer be sold as new, RUNLAB reserves the right to assess the actual diminished value of the Goods and to make a corresponding deduction from the refund to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Original packaging, labels, accessories and other items supplied with the Goods should be returned where reasonably possible. Loss of or damage to packaging may be taken into account where it results in an actual reduction in the value of the Goods.

Please try footwear indoors only. Footwear worn outdoors or used for running or training may lose substantial value, which may affect the amount refunded.

3. Return of Goods

After informing RUNLAB of the decision to withdraw, the customer must return or send the Goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which the withdrawal was communicated.

Goods may be returned:

• in person to the address below; or
• by courier service to the same address.

Unless RUNLAB has agreed otherwise, the customer bears the direct cost of returning Goods under the statutory right of withdrawal, provided that the customer was informed of this obligation before the purchase.

4. Refunds

RUNLAB will reimburse the payments due to the customer without undue delay and, subject to the conditions set out below, no later than 14 days after being informed of the customer’s decision to withdraw.

RUNLAB may withhold reimbursement until the Goods have been received back or until the customer provides evidence that the Goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first, as permitted by applicable law.

Once returned Goods are received, RUNLAB may inspect them to determine whether they have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

The customer may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary for such examination.

Any deduction from the refund will reflect the actual reduction in value of the Goods and will be assessed in accordance with applicable law.

The refund will include the original cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by RUNLAB, where applicable.

If the customer selected a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery option offered by RUNLAB, the additional delivery cost is not required to be refunded.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise expressly agreed with the customer.

5. Size Exchanges

Customers wishing to exchange footwear for a different size may return the product:

• in person to the address above; or
• by courier service to the address above.

Footwear submitted for a voluntary size exchange must comply with the same condition requirements described above and must not have been worn outdoors or used for running, training or other physical activity.

If the returned footwear is suitable for exchange and the requested size is available, RUNLAB will send the replacement size.

Unless otherwise agreed by RUNLAB, shipping and delivery costs associated with a voluntary size exchange are the responsibility of the customer.

If the requested size is unavailable, the customer may choose a refund where applicable under this Return Policy.

This voluntary size exchange policy does not limit or replace the customer’s statutory rights in relation to defective or non-conforming Goods.

6. Defective or Non-Conforming Goods

This Return Policy does not limit the consumer’s statutory legal guarantee rights under Cyprus and European Union law.

If Goods are defective, do not correspond to their description or otherwise fail to conform to the contract, the consumer may be entitled to statutory remedies, including repair or replacement free of charge and, where the applicable legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination of the contract and refund.

Where Goods are returned because of a lack of conformity, the customer will not be charged costs that applicable law requires the Seller to bear.

The statutory legal guarantee is separate from the 14-day right of withdrawal and applies independently of this voluntary return and size exchange policy.

7. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply in circumstances excluded by applicable law, including, where relevant, Goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised Goods and other statutory exceptions.
